Assay— Proceed as directed in the Assayunder Castor Oil Emulsion,using about 100mg of Aromatic Castor Oil,accurately weighed.Calculate the quantity,in mg,of castor oil in the portion of Aromatic Castor Oil taken by the formula:

in which qris the weight,in mg,of castor oil taken for the standard,and RAand RSare the ratios of the peak responses due to castor oil and internal standard obtained from the Aromatic Castor Oil and the standard,respectively.
