Assay Dissolve about 300mg of Ethyl Vanillin,previously dried and accurately weighed,in 50mLof dimethylformamide contained in a 125-mLconical flask.Add thymol blue TS,and titrate with 0.1Nsodium methoxide VS,using a magnetic stirrer and taking precautions against the absorption of atmospheric carbon dioxide.Perform a blank determination,and make any necessary correction.Each mLof 0.1Nsodium methoxide is equivalent to 16.62mg of C9H10O3.
