»Barium Sulfate Tablets are flat-sided disks between 11.5mm and 13.5mm in diameter and contain not less than 90.0percent and not more than 110.0percent of the labeled amount of BaSO4.
Packaging and storage— Preserve in well-closed containers.
Identification— Aportion of powdered Tablets,equivalent to about 0.6g,respond to Identificationtests Aand Bunder Barium Sulfate.
Disintegration á701ñ: not less than 10minutes and not more than 30minutes.
Uniformity of dosage units á905ñ: meet the requirements.
Assay— Powder a number of Tablets,equivalent to 0.6g,and proceed as directed in the Assayunder Barium Sulfate.
