»Prepare Senna Syrup as follows:
Senna Fluidextract 250mL
Suitable essential oil(s)
Sucrose 635g
Purified Water,a sufficient quantity,
to make		 1000mL
Mix the oil(s)with the Senna Fluidextract,and gradually add 330mLof Purified Water.Allow the mixture to stand for 24hours in a cool place,with occasional agitation,then filter,and pass enough Purified Water through the filter to obtain 580mLof filtrate.Dissolve the Sucrose in this liquid,and add sufficient Purified Water to make the product measure 1000mL.Mix,and strain.
Packaging and storage— Preserve in tight containers,at a temperature not exceeding 25.
Alcohol content,Method Iá611ñ: between 90.0%and 110.0%of the labeled amount of C2H5OH.
